I've had some issues with an aftermarket drive shaft install. Bottom line stock drive shaft fits, first yoke would barely go in then would stop 1/4 to 1/2 inch in. The vendor sent me another yoke. I test fitted it before putting it on the drive shaft and it seemed to go in fairly easily. I had to tap it lightly with a rubber mallet, but it went all the way in and would spin by hand. Just to make sure all was well I fired the car up for a min and put it in gear. After being in gear for a sec the car bogged down and died. I would not get the car to stay running in gear. So I take a look and the yoke and its stuck in the tail shaft. I spent 30 mins beating it out with a hammer. After getting it out I looked in the tail shaft,and the spiral grooved sleeve is chewed up pretty good at the far end of the sleeve, but the teeth on the output shaft are still good. I'm wanting to know if the spiral grooved sleeve is replaceable and where to get one. I looks like its just pressed in.
